Anna Frellsen brings over 20 years of experience at the intersection of global development, maternal health, technology, philanthropy, and healthcare. She has held leadership roles with a global footprint, working across Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia, India, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Since 2013, Anna has served as the CEO of Maternity Foundation. During her leadership, Maternity Foundation has established itself as a leading global actor in maternal health. Among her key responsibilities, Anna has led the scale-up of Maternity Foundation’s mobile health solution, the Safe Delivery App, which has reached nearly half a million users across more than 100 countries, with significant presence in low- and middle-income countries.

Anna holds an MBA from IESE , has worked as the CEO for a small start-up, as a partner with KPMG Strategy, and as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. She is an active board member and sits on the board of the William Demant Foundation, William Demant Invest and CfL (Danish Management Center). Additionally, she is the Chair of IPAS Europe.
