Tariku trains midwives, organizes training under the MF organization, timely report of clinical activities to the Maternity Foundation of West Wollega Project and works with mentoring of midwives.

Previously to joining MF in 2013, he has been working in different government hospitals as clinician, and head nurse of maternity wards and the nursing committee management team of the hospital.
