Narender Goswami joined Maternity Foundation as the Country Director for India after scaling remarkable heights in the field of Public Health with more than 11 years of professional experience. Prior to joining Maternity Foundation, he has worked in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and PRONTO International. He has supported MoHFW, GOI and provided technical expertise in rollout of various national level programs including LaQshya, Midwifery, SUMAN, PMSMA, Maternal death and surveillance, Abortion care etc. His contribution towards the policy and program dialogue has been immensely supportive. He has been a member of various national expert groups for maternal health training initiatives and programs and thus proved his deft skills in the field by establishing himself as the go-to expert on maternal and new-born health. He is zealous in bringing about dynamic changes in the ways mothers and new-borns are given priority above all. He looks forward to making birth giving a special experience for all mothers and for the service provider.
Aditya is responsible for overall management of work in India to increase the reach and roll out of the Safe Delivery App. Prior to joining Maternity Foundation he was working to enhance the quality in primary health center.
Furthermore, Aditya is a public health graduate and is certified from the University of Washington for Public Health Leadership and Management, and by UNICEF for Social and Behaviour Change Communication.
A nursing and public health Professional with more than 9 years of quality work experience in the field of Nursing education and Public health. Completed Masters in Nursing (Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing) from Yenepoya University, Karnataka, India. Worked under various health system strengthening programs in India. Provided technical support to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW)Govt of India, Indian Nursing Council and State government, for strengthening the Nursing and Midwifery Cadre in India, successful implementation of the quality care for maternal health in India. Supported MoHFW, GoI in rollout of the midwifery education in India and serves as a member of the National Midwifery Task Force. Contributed in the development of various operational, technical guidelines and curriculum other related training materials at National level. Was instrumental in establishing five Centre of excellence in nursing education/National Nodal centres in India. A certified international trainer by Jhpiego and conducted various capacity building training for health care providers across the country.
Neelam is a nursing and public health professional with more than 7 years of quality work experience in the field of Nursing education, Capacity building and public health. Completed Master's in public health and Graduation in nursing from Uttarakhand, India. Worked with UP-TSU to provide technical support to the government of Uttar Pradesh to strengthening the knowledge, skill, and practice of nursing and midwifery cadre and to improve quality of care of maternal and Newborn health. She is skilled in public health approaches and quality improvement process across RMNCH. And a certified master trainer in various capacity building trainings of health care workers.
Parul Dewett is a nurse with a master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has several of years of work experience from the health sector in India in addition to her previous positions within NGOs such as Jhpiego and Care India. She has vast experience in conducting clinical trainings and mentoring nurses.
