Form groups of 2-3 people and have them discuss the case below and practice the resuscitation scenario using a doll and bag and mask.

You are resuscitating a newborn and you have been giving ventilation breaths for 20 seconds. The newborn is still not breathing. How will you continue the resuscitation? 

After practicing the scenario, watch the Neonatal Resuscitation video subchapter “Airway and Breathing” and discuss if you could have done anything differently. Then, practice the scenario one more time.
