Pair up and read the case together:

You are resuscitating a newborn that was not crying or breathing at birth. For the past 15 minutes the heart rate has been between 40-50 bpm.  

• What do you do now?
• When do you stop the resuscitation?
• What do you tell the mother?

Wrap up the exercise by discussing if you would have done anything differently, reflect on past experiences and evaluate if you have learnt something new.
